Ongoing maintenance

Keep your remediated site healthier over time.

Accessibility is not a one-time project. Content changes, plugins update, themes ship new versions, designers iterate — and every one of those is a chance for a regression. Sturdly Autopilot scans your site every day and our engineers keep the fixes shipped before plaintiff firms find them.

What’s included

Maintenance isn’t a dashboard. It’s a team plus a tool.

  • Daily automated accessibility scans (axe-core + 4 additional layers)
  • Engineer review of every flagged issue — no false-positive noise
  • WordPress core, plugin, and theme update oversight
  • Regression monitoring after content or code changes
  • Timestamped fix records for every change
  • Monthly accessibility statement updates
  • 5 hours of expert engineering time included per month
  • Slack or email channel for accessibility questions
How Autopilot works

Two modes. You pick. Every change is logged either way.

Default

Review mode

Autopilot scans the site, explains the issue, and queues the recommended fix for engineer approval. Nothing ships without a human signing off.

Best for sites that get audited, are under active litigation, or where any change needs documented sign-off.

Faster turnaround

Autopilot mode

For pre-approved low-risk categories — missing alt text on a new image, an unlabeled form field, a heading-level skip — Autopilot applies the fix immediately, logs the change, re-scans the page, and notifies your team.

Best for sites with frequent content updates where waiting for review would slow things down too much.

Pricing

Maintenance starts at $249/month.

Single WordPress site with up to 5 hours of expert engineering time included. Larger sites, multi-site networks, and ecommerce flows are quoted separately. Month-to-month, no contract.

Maintenance, in plain English.

Do I have to do remediation first?
Strongly recommended. Maintenance is about protecting work that already exists — if your site has years of unaddressed accessibility issues, you need remediation before maintenance is the right product. We'll tell you which one fits when you contact us.
What's Sturdly Autopilot?
It's the proprietary monitoring tool that powers maintenance. Autopilot scans your site every day, flags issues, and either queues them for engineer review (Review mode) or applies pre-approved fixes for low-risk patterns (Autopilot mode). Every change is logged. No overlays, no runtime patches.
What if my plugins break accessibility?
We catch it. Daily scans run after every content or code change, so plugin updates that break alt text, focus order, or form labels get flagged within 24 hours. Most regressions get fixed before anyone outside the team sees them.
Will you make changes without asking?
By default no. Review mode queues every change for engineer approval. If you want faster turnaround on safe, low-risk fixes (alt text on a new image, missing form label), you can opt in to Autopilot mode — but the change is still logged and you get notified.
What does the 5 hours of engineering time cover?
Accessibility-related work: fixing issues the scan finds, helping your team review a new plugin or template, answering accessibility questions from your developer or designer, adjusting the accessibility statement when scope changes. Hours don't roll over.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime, no contract. Maintenance is month-to-month. We'd rather earn the renewal than lock you in.

Don’t let a regression undo the work.

Most ADA demand letters cite issues that didn’t exist a year ago — they appeared when a plugin updated or a designer iterated. Maintenance catches those before plaintiff firms do.
